Wide gives you more room in the calf and through the foot. CAMBRIDGE (6" ankle) and DALHOUSIE (14" tall) come in Wide in five colours each, sizes 7 to 12, with the same waterproof membrane, 3M Thinsulate insulation and −30 °C / −22 °F rating as Regular.

Will it fit my calf?

How to measure your calf. Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your calf, wearing the socks you'll wear with your boots. Compare it with the table at your size: you want the boot to be at least 1 cm (about ½ in) bigger than your calf, and more if you tuck in leggings or jeans. Or enter it in the calf-fit finder and it will tell you whether Regular or Wide fits.

Why not just size up? A bigger size adds calf room too (about 1.6 cm per full size on DALHOUSIE), but it also makes the boot longer. Wide adds room through the forefoot, instep and calf (about 1.5 cm) while keeping your length.

What's different about Wide?

I have wide calves but a normal foot. Will Wide be too loose?

Wide also adds a little room through the forefoot, so lace DALHOUSIE or CAMBRIDGE snug. The DALHOUSIE lacing video is in the size guide on every DALHOUSIE page.
